This National Park highlights the location where the ancestral Pueblo people lived for nearly 700 years. This National Park is home to over 4,000 archeological sites and 600 cliff dwellings. This park offers the chance to see some of the best preserved archeology of this kind in the United States. Mesa Verde Located in Southwestern Colorado near the town of Cortez.
